New school supplies can add up very quickly, especially for families with more than one child. Our goal each year is to bring low income areas together with our local police departments, fire fighters, and service workers to not only drive forward academic needs, but intracommunity relationships. It is important we normalize these moments to reduce fear and create a safe space for all.
